Diana L. Wilson

Diana Lynn (Isable) Wilson was born November 11,1958, to Donald Lee Ford and the late Marjorie Juanita (Isable) Drawhorn in Scottsville, Kentucky. She transitioned peacefully into her eternal rest on November 12, 2025, at 12:48 a.m. surrounded by her family at the Medical Center of Bowling Green. Diana was a woman of faith, strength, deep compassion, and unwavering love for both her family and community. She built a legacy through her work ethic, her kindness, and the steady and consistent way she always showed up for others. Diana accepted Christ at young age at First Baptist Church, Scottsville, a place she always considered to be her spiritual home. There she served as the choir president for many years, choir and praise team member, missionary and dedicated servant in every area her hands found work to do. In 2022, after a season of sickness that prevented her from traveling long distances, she moved her letter to Little Zion Baptist Church where she continued to serve faithfully and sing unto the Lord. Diana most recently worked with the Foster Grandparents program where she was lovingly known by her kids as “Grandma Diane” Prior to that, she retired from the Medical Center of Bowling Green where she worked for eight years. Diana also previously worked as a mortgage loan processor at US Bank Home Mortgage and a Production and Shipping Supervisor at Nyloncraft of Kentucky for over twenty years. No matter the assignment, Diana approached her work with excellence, integrity, and a heart for people. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jerome Robert Wilson who died in 2020 and her brother Michael Covington. She leaves to cherish her memory a loving family including her children; Sean (Shawndi) Isable, Danielle Brown, and Justin (Kellie) Lyons all of Bowling Green, Kentucky. Her siblings are Roger Isable, Robert (Leah) Drawhorn, Terry Morrison, Karen (Marchel) Stockton, Pamela Burnside, Timothy Ford, and Chris Moore. She also had three loving sister in-laws: Janie (Anthony) Williams, Carrie (Kenny) Huskey, and Kim Massey. She was Nana to nine grandchildren: Jordan, Alexis, Adonis, Dane, Shaniqua, Deidra, Craig, Trevon, Braylon, Makayla and nine great grandchildren. There is a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, coworkers, and friends who loved her dearly. While Diana loved everyone, she shared some special friendships over the years with Annetta Shelton, Wathetta Buford, Cindy Smith, Barbara Wilson, Anna Allen, Angie Boards, Roxanna Smith, Tenoah Soules, Greta Faye Boards and Marceline Hall. Her life was marked by love, service and faith. She sang with joy, prayed with conviction, and loved unwaveringly. Her legacy will continue on through the many lives she blessed and the family who will forever honor her memory. Although on November 12, 2025, we may have said goodbye on this side, we truly know she was welcomed by the Lord and he said “well done-good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of the Lord.
