Renell D. Clark
January 27, 1984 - November 28, 2018
Mr. Renell Da'Mond Clark. . . . . Was better known as “Shorty” by his family and friends, was born on January 27, 1984, to Mae Clark and Samuel Thompson in St. Louis, Missouri. Renell attended St. Louis Metropolitian schools and then moved to Bowling Green, Kentucky in December of 1994. Renell was previously employed by Hammerstone Bar & Grill, Wendy’s, Labor Ready and a slew of other odds and end jobs, but his trade was in electronics. Renell was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Thompson; brother, Samuel II; grandmothers, Elizabeth Walker and Willie Thompson; grandfather, Robert Thompson; uncle, James Walker. Shorty was a loving and caring man that had the heart of a giant. Everyone he met, he made his friend. He was very much a Momma’s Boy. Shorty loved his mom. He enjoyed and loved anything purple, music, cars, dogs and special friend Ellen Crawford. Shorty taught all of us how to be happy with his unconditional love. Renell loved all kids, especially his 3, Patricia Tetterson, Kawantarian Taylor, amd Maeonja Taylor. He loved building their toys and riding them too. Shorty was a big kid at heart. Along with Shorty’s kids and mother he is survived by his brothers, Damone Thompson and Samuel Thompson, Jr.; grandfather, A.B. Walker; aunt, Minnie Walker; uncles, Henry Clark, Albert Walker, and Jake Thompson; brother/cousin, Shaahid Johnson; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Renell will be greatly missed. Sincerely, -Your friends at Burnam and Son
