James W. “Brotha” Waller Jr

November 5, 1959 - January 25, 2021

James w. Waller, Jr. better known as "Brotha" was born November 5, 1959, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, the only son of James W Waller, Sr and Johnnie Mae Watson Waller (survived). Brotha was a 1978, graduate of Warren Central High School where he played basketball, football, and ran track. Brotha was employed by Fort Dearborn, Bowling Green for over 25 years. Brotha was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church until 2017, where he served as an Altar Boy. On October 21, 2018, he was baptized at the Eleventh Street Baptist Church where he has served faithfully as a member of the Brotherhood. Brotha was the kind of man who left his doors open to anyone who wanted to come. He loved to mentor young men telling them the things that would make them good husbands, fathers, and sons. Brotha was all those things and more. Brotha married the love of his life, Janet Waller on October 8, 1983, after being together since 1976. His love for his wife, his children, his grandchildren, and all that he came into contact with was a living testimony of who he was. As an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, Brotha would cheer them on while spending quality time with his sons, grandsons, sister Lisa and Jeff. Brotha loved to write poetry and he grilled the best ribs in Bowling Green. On, Monday, January 25, 2021, Brotha saw that it was time for him to join his wife Janet, his father James Waller, Sr., grandparents John L. & Mary Alice Watson, Earl & Eleanor Waller. To cherish the loving memory of James W Waller, Jr. "Brotha" he leaves his children, Schuyler Waller, Chase Waller, and Cierra Waller; grandchildren, Kei'maunie and Julian; mother, Johnnie Mae Waller; siblings, Tonetta Waller-Garner, Lisa Waller, Sherri Waller; aunts and uncles, Melvin Porter (Doris) Watson, Mariah Watson-Brown, Sarah Waller, Varna Jean Waller, Margaret Ree, Alice, Louise, Waldean, Charlene(James), Charles (Peggy); nieces and nephews, Dominque, Briana, Bianca, Justin (Niyah), Destiny, Glenn II (Crystal), Candace (Hovie), and Cameron; great-nieces and nephews, Nataya, Braylan, Lakyn, Reese, Britton, Morrion, Collins, Stevie, and Brody; devoted sisters in law, Darlene Collins, LaDonna (Damon) Byrd; Godchildren, Terrell, TC, Ryan, Chasity, DeSean, Davonte; a host of other relatives and friends. Sincerely, -Your friends at Burnam and Son
