Cora Mack

In sweet peace and surrounded by family, Mother Cora Mack entered into eternal glory on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at approximately 4:03 A.M. Cora Moore was born July 29, 1947 to the union of Ora Dee Taylor Moore and Clabe Moore, Sr. in Dublin, Mississippi. The eldest of six children, she was preceded in death by her mother, Mother Ora Dee Moore. She was the proud mother of four children, whom she loved dearly, She was united in Holy Matrimony to Prince O. Mack on May 14 1982. After relocating to St. Louis, Missouri in 1966 she briefly fellowshipped with the Mt. Olive Baptist Church , but later united with the Second Baptist Church of Kinloch where she loyally served as an Ushers and Youth Ministry leader. After migrating to Bowling Green, Kentucky in 1981 she would fellowship with numerous ministries but would become a founding charter member of Trinity Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Charles Baker. She remained an active and faithful member in numerous capacities until her health failed her. She also possessed a love for her St. Louis church family, Cathedral of Praise Christian Development Center. Under the leadership of Bishop Earl Moore and the direction of God, she was appointed to International Mother of the Churches of Cathedral during the Convocation of 2012. In her early years she worked in the cotton fields of Mississippi. After moving to St. Louis she became employed by Parkside Manor, Normandy School District and later when relocating to Bowling Green, Kentucky she was employed by Western Kentucky University where she remained until her retirement. Mother Mack served the community in many capacities, Board of Human Right Commission, Life time member of NAACP, She loved cooking and caring for many. Her doors were opened to all. Her husband, children and family were her crowning glory. She leaves to cherish her memory, a devoted husband of 31 years, Prince Mack; a loving father, Clabe Moore Sr; two daughters, Brenda Moore-Carver (Maverick) of Bowling Green, Ky and Pamela Mack of Jefferson City, MO; two sons, Walter Huntley, Jr (Lyndaphia) of St. Louis, MO and Jerome Huntley (Brenda) of Bowling Green, Ky; two sisters, Ora Lee Van Buren (James) and Linda Moore Sanders (Arthur) both of St. Louis, MO; three brothers, Pastor Calvin Moore, Sr, (Flora), Clabe Moore, Jr. and Bishop Earl Moore all of St. Louis, MO., eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grand children; one sister-in-law, two brother-in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
