Pastor Yvonne M. Bell
August 1, 1937 - August 9, 2021
Pastor Yvonne Muzzall Bell was born August 1, 1937, in Saint Louis City County, Saint Louis, Missouri. Pastor Bell found her path to Glory, August 9, 2021, at age 84, in Warren County, Bowling Green, Kentucky. She was born to the late William Garland & Pauline Phillips. Pastor Bell was preceded in death by her husband Edward L. Bell and daughter Cynthia Neal and her stepmother Alma Garland, grandmother Emma Jones sisters Audrey Thompson and Gloria Morris, niece Pamela Brown and aunt Alexzine Edwards Pastor Bell was baptized in Jesus' Name and received the Holy Ghost in 1965, serving under the pastorship of the late Bishop P.L.Scott at Lively Stone Church in Saint Louis, Missouri. In 1970 she accepted her call to the ministry, attending Books Bible Institute, Stone Craft Ministries, and Rehoboth Bible Insitute. While attending Lively Stone Church, Pastor Bell served as a teacher and the assistant superintendent of the Sunday School Department. She contributed to the Sunday School literature and the Apostolic Light Press; she also served as Vice-President of the Missionary Auxilliary and worked with the prison ministry, the Assistant Superintendent of the Midwestern District Council. Pastor Bell and her family moved to Bowling Green in 1981, and she became an employee of Caster-Knotts department store, where she was a former Sales Associate for 17 years. She was a dog lover, and her greatest show was being with sisters and brothers in Christ. Pastor Bell became a member of Our Lords' Temple under the pastorship of the late Elder Preston T. Satterfield. During her membership, she served as a teacher, director of the Sunday School Department, became an associate minister, president of the Missionary Auxiliary for 20 years. She was Chaplain for the Warren County Jail for women. At that time, 15 were baptized in Jesus' Name. Pastor Bell had served as vice-president for the Women's Auxiliary of the First Apostolic Council of Kentucky and Tennessee for 5 years and served as the president for 6 years. Pastor Bell also served as Poet Laureate of the I.M.C.W.A. of the P.A.W. and had served as the Program Chair Lady of the First Apostolic Council of Kentucky and Tennessee. Evangelist Bell, as she is still affectionately remembered, accepted her call to Pastor. On August 11, 2001, she founded the Lively Stone Church-South at Quality Inn Motel and Ramada Inn, and 1 week later, her telecast began. She was ordained as Pastor in June 2002 by the late Bishop Alphonso Scott, who was the Overseer of Lively Stone Fellowship of Churches. In August 2002, the church moved to its current location at 174 St. Charles Street, to God be THE GLORY!. Lively Stone Church South's motto is: We have a lovely Church, We are a lovely people, We serve a lovely God. In 2017 Pastor Bell authored her book titled: "Make Known His Deed's Among the People. A woman of courage, grace, and unwavering faith leaves her family to cherish and honor her memories; Mr. Rodney Bell, Oakland, California, Mrs. Paula (Kelly) Wilson, Decatur, Illinois, Mr. Dwayne Bell, and Mr. Terence (Lisa) Bell all of Bowling Green, Kentucky. Her grandchildren, Terence Bell, Cody Sullivan, Liz Sullivan, Sara Wilson, Jeremiah Wilson, Anna (Jarvis) Northern, Rachel Wilson, Rolanda Bell, Eva Stewart, and Ryan Stewart, several great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, special friend Marcella Austin and a host of relatives and many friends, and her church family.
