Steve Wilson

December 8, 1955 - July 18, 2017

Steve Wilson . . . . . . .was born to the late Calvin Wilson and Corrine Ragland Wilson, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, on December 8, 1955. Steve’s journey came to a close on July, 18, 2017, at Centennial Medical Center, Nashville, Tennessee with his family by his side. Steve was a graduate of Bowling Green High School and served in the United States Marine Corps. Steve was baptized at the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Auburn, KY, he later united with the Eleventh Street Baptist Church and attended Christ Fellowship Church. Steve loved having a good cup of coffee with his dog Benji, while watching the A & E channel, Cops or some good movie; weight lifting was a favorite pastime of his. Steve was a former employee of Holley Carburetor and Country Oven Bakery. Along with his parents, Steve will join his wife, Janet Wilson; brother, Darryl Alexander; grandparents Howard and Essie Mae Ragland; aunts, Wilma Halcomb and Diane Ragland. Steve’s memories will forever be held dear and cherished by his children, Antonio Butts and Tiffany Boards; stepchildren, Ambroshia Halcomb and Chesten Winn; grandchildren, Alannah and Jayden Butts; several step grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Whitfield, Mona (Andre) Johnson, and Jennifer Campbell; aunt, Linda Ragland; uncles, Preston Ragland and Frank (Martha) Ragland; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
