March 16, 1939 - December 29, 2013

Robert Watkins . . . was born March 16, 1939, in Brownsville, Tennessee, to the late Robert Watkins and Ida Jo Nettles Watkins. Robert was a retired drill operator with Lamphear Construction. In 1962 he married Myrtle Watkins and settled in Bowling Green to raise his family. Robert enjoyed going fishing, hunting, raising a garden and breeding beagle hounds. His most joyous times were sitting around with his friends just talking. Robert . . . leaves to treasure his memory, his wife, Myrtle Watkins; children, Robin Watkins, Debra Burton, Perry Watkins, and Bill Watkins; grand children, Marcus, Desirae, Kimberly, Du’Juan, Perryn, Jason, Jared, William, Trey and Sherrill; seven great grandchildren; sisters, Monia Clark, Hazel (L.C.)
