Her Life and Legacy Martha Bryant Mason . . . was born November 18, 1960, in Glasgow, Kentucky, a daughter of Eva Shirley Gibson and the late Stanley G. Bryant. Martha was a 1978 graduate of Glasgow High School and a graduate of Western Kentucky University where she received her Associate's Degree in Nursing in 1997. Martha was a former member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church of Glasgow and continued to serve God at Taylor Chapel A.M.E. Church of Bowling Green where she served as a choir member and Missionary worker. Martha lived a very spiritual guided life. Martha's calling to help and nurture those in need was fulfilled as a former 21-year employee of the Medical Center of Bowling Green and an 18 1/2 year employee of the Barren River District Health Department. Martha loved to sew, knit, and make crafts, but spending time with her family was the most important part of her life. Martha married her high school sweetheart Dr. Wayne Mason, on, August 12, 1978, in Glasgow, Kentucky. The love they shared was magnified as their family grew with the blessing of two children and three grandchildren. On, Sunday, March 7, 2021, Martha joined those gone before her husband, Wayne, her father, brothers, Stanley Earl Bryant, and Garnett Bryant. To cherish the loving memory of Martha Bryant Mason, she leaves her children, Ian- Michael Mason, and McKenzie Mason; grandchildren, Meeiah, Tayte, and Maia; mother, Eva Gibson; siblings, Rev. Dr. Ronnie Bryant, Donnie (Shelia) Bryant; and Chenita Bryant; sister in law, Anna (Ron) Lewis; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Cremation was chosen.
