John N. Anderson

May 14, 1936 - September 23, 2020

John Nathenial Anderson, was born, May 14, 1937, in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, a son of the late Gabria Ella Tandy. John attended Crispus Attucks High School, Hopkinsville. At an early age John joined the Lane Tabernacle C.M.E. Church. John was always ready and wanted to help his family in any way that he could. Whether he was enjoying a UK basketball game, listening to some good old RB music like the O Jays, Frankie Beverly/Maze, or the Four Tops “I Believe in You & Me”, John loved sharing that time with family and friends. Turn on a good movie and just wait for John to fall asleep. On, Wednesday, September 23, 2020, John looked beyond the shore as he joined those gone before, his mother; brothers and sisters, Henry Finch, Milton Tandy, Eddie Tandy, Gabriella Tandy Brown, George Tandy, Margaret Tandy Majors, Annie Mae Countiss and Ozetta Tandy Williams. To cherish the loving memory of John Nathenial Anderson he leaves his loving wife of 36 years, Brenda Rogers Anderson; his children, Dorothee Washington, Lestine Blane, Joseph Jewell, Derrick Moore, Diana (Kelvin) Alexander and Justin Anderson; 23 grand-children; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Jane Tandy; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, other relatives and friends. *LIVE STREAMING WILL BE BROADCAST VIA BURNAM & SON FACEBOOK PAGE at 1:30 PM Sincerely, -Your friends at Burnam and Son
