Jerry Whitlow Sr

May 28, 1946 - July 6, 2011

. Jerry Richard Whitlow, Sr., age 65, of Bowling Green, KY, and a native of Glasgow, Kentucky; died Wednesday, July 6, 2011, at Rosewood Health Care Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Jerry was employed by City of Bowling Greens Maintenance Department, he retired after 29 years of service with the City. Jerry joined Hopewell Baptist Church at an early age. He served during the Vietnam War with the United States Marine Corp. Jerry was a member of the American Legion, and he was well known as the "Master DJ", he spent many years sharing his love for music as a Disc-Jockey. Jerry was the son of the late Joseph Whitlow & the late Anna Ferguson Whitlow. Jerry was preceded in death by his sister the late Joann Huffman. Jerry is survived by his three daughters: Tisha Barnett, Bowling Green, Kentucky, Jerrica W. Rice, Bowling Green, Kentucky, Thea Renee Whitlow, Bowling Green, Kentucky. One Son: Jerry Whitlow, Jr., Cave City, Kentucky. Stepson: Mark Whitlow, Bowling Green, Kentucky. Grandchildren: Xavier & Anaya. Three Sisters: Alma Dickerson, Bowling Green, Kentucky, Diane Lewis, Bowling Green, Kentucky, Delores (Albert) Henderson, Bowling Green, Kentucky. One Brother: Donald Lee Whitlow, Bowling Green, Kentucky. Uncles :Frank Whitlow, Bowling Green, Kentucky. Jimmy D. Ferguson, Indianapolis, Indiana. Aunt: Mary Catherine Clayton, Glasgow, Kentucky. A host of nieces and nephews. Brother in law: George Dickerson, Adairvillle, Kentucky. Special friends; the late Frank Smith, Virgil Bunton, Rev.Tommy Murrell both of Bowling Green, Kentucky.
