Georgia Lee Hall, age 84, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, a native of Overton County, Tennessee and former resident of Franklin, Kentucky, died Thursday, February 19, 2015, at Signature Healthcare of Bowling Green in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Georgia was a retired employee of Town House Restaurant. Georgia was a member of First Church of God and Christ, where she was Mother of the church. Georgia loved sewing and spending time with her grandchildren and family. Georgia was known for yodeling and she was actually very good at it. Georgia was predeceased by her parents, Henry Baman Gabbard and Lee Mitt Gabbard Hall; her husband, James Howard Hall; daughter, Matilda Smith; sisters, Henrietta Flood and Margaret Frances Savage. Georgia’s memories will be cherished by her children, Uretha (Stanley) Parrish, Leon (Mildred) Hall, Juanita Gist, James E. Hall, and Wanda Hall (James Head); 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Juanita Page, Ella Joyce (Richard) Gist, and Christine Hayes; a special friend Viola Napier, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
