Fannie M. Lewis
November 24, 1956 - June 6, 2017
Her Legacy...Fannie was born November 24, 1956. She attended Warren East High School. She was the CEO, counselor, mediator, nurse and personal chef of the household. Fannie worked outside of the home at Holley Performance Products, ACK Controls Inc., and as an affectionate elderly caregiver for over thirty years. She was a member and President of the Adult choir at Mt. Union Baptist Church. Fannie moved her letter to unite in worship with her husband, Rev. Charles Lewis. While being a member at Ole Rocky Hill Baptist Church she served as Sunday school teacher and church secretary. Palms 23 was her favorite scripture. Her Family….Fannie was born to the late Luther B. and Ella D. (Settles) Shobe. On April 4, 1975, she united in marriage to Rev. Charles Lewis. This union was blessed with two children. Her Farewell….Fannie truly live life to the fullest though simple pleasures. She will be remembered as a loving soul and constant friend. She will forever be in their hearts and will e missed by her husband, Rev. Charles Lewis; her children, Leslie Lewis and Denise Lewis-Lancaster (Patrick); her grandchildren, Darius Lancaster, Dasia Lancaster, Patrick Lancaster, Jr., Zachariah Greer, Anthony Greer, Jr., Ladarrion Greer, Dylan Lancaster; and one greatgrandchild, Gemini Davidson, all are residents of Bowling Green, Kentucky. She leaves to celebrate her life her sisters and brothers, Verta Murrell of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Bessie Shobe and Augusta (Vickie) Shobe, both of Hiseville, Kentucky, Mable (William) Kirk of Scottsville, Kentucky, and Ben Shobe of Glasgow, Kentucky; She leaves several beloved nieces, nephews, relatives, church family and friends. She was preceded in death by father and mother, Luther B. and Ella D. Shobe, and brothers, George Shipley and John Shobe. Sincerely, -Your friends at Burnam and Son
