Andre R. Martin Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Andre R. Martin was born, March 26, 1972, in Barren County, Kentucky, a son of the late Rachel Martin and Shirley Duncan Martin (survives). A1990, a graduate of Warren East High School, Andre played football for the Raiders. At a young age, he joined the Mt. Olla Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Warner Fishback where he was a member of the church choir and also a member of Gods Mighty Angels. Andre was a former employee of Trace Die Cast and Stoody Company. As an avid Dallas Cowboys and U of L Cardinal fan, Andre was so much fun to be around, he loved to just have a good time with his family and friends; there was never a dull moment while in his presence. On, April 7, 1997, Andre married his sweetheart and love of his life, Marsha Morrison Martin, in Springfield, Tennessee. Andre fought a good fight as illness started to overcome his physical body, but on, Tuesday, April 6, 2021, he found refuge for his soul as his Heavenly Father called him home at the age of 49 years and 11 days. Along with his father Andre has joined his grandparents, Sarah Duncan-Stovall, Roy Duncan, Howard & Ora Martin; aunts and uncles, Grace Bunton, Charles Martin, Jimmy & Lola Benett; in-laws, Thelma Morrison & Harold Whitney. To cherish the loving memory of Andre R. Martin he leaves his wife, Marsha Martin; children, D’Andre Martin (Kallie White), Jarrod Morrison, and Sasha (Justin) Britt; grandchildren, Aria and Zaiden; his mother, Shirley Duncan Martin.
